B737 FTD is an EASA/FAA approved flight simulator for APS MCC and ATP/CPT training.  

This device is a fully enclosed turnkey flight simulator with all panels, controls and systems fully functional.

It is built using proprietary electronics and hardware designed primarily for heavy-duty use in professional environments. This B 737 Flight Training Device meets EASA/FAA requirements and is delivered with complete QTG/QAG to be approved by the Authorities for official training use as B 737 FNPT II APS MCC or B737 AATD.

No shortcuts have been made and no efforts spared to achieve high level of realizm and functionality which surprises even the most experienced Boeing 737 pilots, used to Level D Full Flight Simulators. 

Our B 737 FTD is an interesting low cost alternative to type specific simulators, providing similar training value.

 

OEM components like pilots' seats, flight controls, oxygen masks and the Advanced Electric Flight Controls Loading system with functional A/P and CWS modes and simulated hydraulic failures, make it an immersive and affordable flight training device which can be acquired not only by airlines but also smaller flight schools.

Our B 737 simulator comes as an all-inclusive package: hardware, computers and software with on-site training, warranty, priority support and excellent after sale Customer Service.

Avionics and flight controls have been designed by our R&D engineers for heavy-duty training use, often utilizing OEM (original aircraft) parts. Every part of this B737 FTD is built in-house, what ensures full quality control and quick access to spare parts. Having operated our own commercial B 737 FNPT II MCC flight simulator - "GearUP!" since 2015, we understand that the term 'uptime' is critical for all commercial operations and we know how to deliver it.

Our B 737 flight simulator is a literally 'turnkey system'. Using intuitive interface, automatic startup and predefined scenarios, it is ready to fly within 3 minutes after power up, so your instructors and students can take the most of their session's time. All scenarios (time and weather, position, approaches, abnormal situations) are easy to manage via the IOS interface. Utilizing and maintaining our B737 flight simulator do not require any specific skills, knowledge or on-site technicians and in case of any issues, its modular design facilitates easy maintenance and servicing. Our reliable support team makes everything to prevent you from flying in turbulences and usually handles support requests on the same day.

Using proprietary hardware gives us full flexibility of design and functionality. Most of other B737 flight simulators in this market segment, offer functionality not exceeding approx. 70% of our FTD and we are ready to demonstrate it during a test flight. 

With our vast technical background in electronics, automatic control and robotics, we decided to not follow the beaten track using generic input/output (I/O) cards, but to develop proprietary hardware from the ground up. No dummy components are utilized and no functions downgraded due to technical limitations. What we deliver is a fully functional state-of-the-art B 737 cockpit simulator.

Our hardware utilizes all latest technologies which still remain innovative in flight simulation industry.

This at the forefront is CANBUS communication as found in all professional applications which require high speeds and reliability, such as: aviation, automotive, maritime, military and space industries.

Emulated-USB or COM ports and other obsolete technologies associated with "hobby" devices and should be avoided.

Since day one it has been our goal to deliver B 737 flight simulator parts which are a near-exact replica of the real B737 cockpit but at the same time they are reliable and affordable to keep training costs down - when acquiring, operating and maintaining the flight trainer.

For the best pilot experience and immersion, our modules have been reproduced with attention to minute details. It is a common question from those who see our B737 flight simulator for the first time - whether we use original aircraft parts? Of course we do not, as a single OEM  module can easily cost as much as our whole simulator. To achieve this level, our design engineers use advanced tools for prototyping such as 3D scanning and printing and real-life Boeing 737 type rated pilots who work with us always consult new products and keep their eye on all details.

Our mechanical engineers have 15-20 years of experience in designing production lines and vehicles for various industries. With this know-how, they designed the parts and mechanisms based on OEM parts or employed actual OEM parts for smooth operation for years. 

The flight controls design is based on OEM parts and covers full functionality as per the actual B737 NG aircraft. Our B737 FTD simulator is equipped with coupled yokes and control columns with stick shakers, coupled and adjustable rudder pedals with differential toe brakes, nose wheel steering wheel(s) and a fully-motorized throttle unit.

Depending on Customer's specific needs or regulatory requirements the flight controls can be equipped with either passive or advanced active loading, using retrofit OEM parts.

The passive system provides averaged in-flight forces while the active one is capable of simulating:

 

- Hydraulic failures including full manual reversion,

- Autoflight (A/P and CWS modes),

- Neutral shift (stab and aileron trim).

 

This functionality is fully reproduced as found on a type specific B 737 FTD / FFS flight simulator, providing similar training value and experience.

The IOS is a fully-enclosed cockpit extension with seats for one instructor and two observers.

It provides ergonomic working environment with B737 FTD control panel (auto startup and shutdown) and two large touchpanels for easy session management. The IOS is air-conditioned and equipped with RFID access control, video monitoring, fire protection system and automatic emergency lighting and door unlocking. The cabin’s size can be customized to individual requirements.

The IOS's interface is clear and intuitive and organized in a layout similar to a Level D B 737 full flight simulator for quick fmiliarization. Functionality includes:


- Repositioning with predefined positions (runways, gates, approaches)
- Time, season and weather control with presets

- Weight and balance adjustment
- Low visibility operations, windshear recognition and recovery training, TCAS exercises
- Vast selection of simulated malfunctions (e.g. V1 cuts, FMC fail, engine & APU fire)
- Flight freeze and pause
- Session recording with graphs for debriefing

 SYSTEM 

A seamless 220 x 40 degrees direct projection system is one of the widest on the market. Additional features like advanced blending for realistic night scenes (not found on low-level simulators) make it exceed regulatory requirements and provide correct visual cues to the pilots.

The Image Generator of our B 737 FNPT II MCC / AATD simulator is supplied by Lockheed Martin.

It includes a worldwide database with 24900 airports with 40 detailed cities and airports. 

The Navigation Database (FMS's database) is availavle with regular updates to match real-world AIRAC cycles with optional access to navigation charts. 
 

Depending on Customer's specific needs or regulatory requirements, design of the system can be adjusted to achieve greater Field of View (FOV) or reduce parallax errors by changing the screen's parametres  or using collimated or Level D display systems. Custom configurations can be discussed, so that the simulator can meet higher requirements and qualify for a type specific B 737 FTD.
